Megaron Athens International Conference Centre
The CODE Forum will be held at Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC), which offers the finest facilities, stunning aesthetics and cutting edge technology. A landmark, in the centre of Athens, MAICC has a total offering of 143,000 square metres and a choice of 18 meeting spaces, combined with expansive exhibition and foyer areas totalling 12,000 square metres. The Centre’s total capacity is 6,000 delegates depending on the configuration, with the largest meeting room accommodating close to 2,000.
The event will be held at the Banquet Hall, a highly flexible, modern, circular hall with a suspended balcony, which has a seating capacity of 650 people.
All main conference rooms are specially designed and equipped with high-tech audiovisual equipment and wireless internet. Moreover, they meet accessibility standards for persons with physical disabilities.
Moreover, Megaron is located in close proximity to large and luxurious hotels, has excellent access by public transport and a total of 750 parking spaces, while you will easily find other parking facilities within a short distance.
Since its opening, Megaron has been a member of AIPC and ICCA and has succesfully hosted many international conferences and exhibitions.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Megaron is ideally located right in the heart of downtown Athens, at the corner of Vas. Sofias Avenue and Kokkali St. (see location on map ), and you can get there through the main transport gates of the capital:
By car:
-35 minutes from Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (www.aia.gr)
-20 minutes from the Central Railway Station of Athens (Larissa Station www.trainose.gr)
-30 minutes from the Port of Piraeus (www.olp.gr)
-20 minutes from Attiki Odos
-30 to 40 minutes from the tolls of Elefsina or Afidnes
-10 minutes from the city center (Syntagma Square)
By the Athens Metro:
The nearest metro station is “Megaro Moussikis” (Line 3: Dimotiko Theatro – Doukissis Plakentias / Athens Airport). When arriving at the major transport gates, you can use the Metro as follows:
-From the Airport: using Line 3
-From the Port of Piraeus: Directly by using Line 3 station ‘PIRAEUS’ or Line 1 and changing to Line 3 at MONASTIRAKI station (moving in the direction of the Airport)
-From the Central Railway Station: Using Line 2 in the direction of Elliniko and changing to Line 3 at SYNTAGMA station in the direction of the Airport.

Parking Facilities – Megaron Parking: You can easily park at the Megaron’s three-level underground parking facility (entrance at Kokkali str.), which has spaces for 750 cars, and a total surface area of 32,000 square metres. The facility is open from 6am to 2am every day, it is fully signed for the convenience of drivers and pedestrians, and has 15 dedicated spaces for persons with special needs on each level.
In order to park at the Megaron Athens International Conferenece Centre free of charge, as you enter the facilities, kindly inform them that you will be attending the CODE Forum, and ask for a day card, the cost of which will be covered by the event.

ACCESSIBILITY
Megaron has addressed the needs of people with reduced mobility with social sensitivity. There is easy access to the Megaron for those with impaired mobility, and there are specially designed restrooms on all levels, as well as trolley bars. For the Banquet Hall, there is a ramp at the new entrance on Vas. Sofias St., leading to the main foyer, from where there are ramps and lifts to all areas.
