Kostas Angelopoulos is a Mining and Metallurgical Engineer, a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), specializing in Mining Engineering. For approximately 25 years, he operated a technical office providing services focused on the licensing and support of quarries and mines, as well as the preparation of all necessary studies required for this purpose.

At the same time, he acquired specialized expertise in environmental protection, as well as in the rehabilitation, restoration, and ecological reconstruction of degraded landscapes.

Throughout his long professional career, he has worked as a consultant to quarrying and mining companies across Greece, with particular specialization in regulatory and legislative matters and in the design of surface mining operations.

Since 2021, he has served as Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of ANAEKK S.A., an organization approved by the Hellenic Recycling Organization, established to address the country’s need for responsible, alternative, and effective management of excavation, construction, and demolition waste.
