Alkis Kalomparis
Operations Director, Hill International
Alkis Kalomparis is a Senior Civil Engineer with more than 30 years of international experience leading major building projects across Greece, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. As an in house leader at Hill International, currently holding the position of the Operations Director, he oversees landmark Greek developments including, amongst others, the Holocaust Museum in Thessaloniki, the New Archeological Museum of Athens, and the “Odysseas” Park of Maritime Tradition.
His career spans senior roles with developers, contractors, designers, and PMC firms, delivering complex office, mixed use, and headquarters buildings. Notably, he served as Contractor’s representative in major projects in Romania and as Country Manager in the Middle East, and has led teams on major projects in Greece, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Romania, Sebia, Bulgaria, Kenya, and Qatar.
Mr. Kalomparis is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE). Alkis holds a BEng (Hons), and a PhD awarded by the Council for National Academic Awards (CNAA) under a Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) scholarship.
